Joe BurkartJoseph A. Burkart, II has participated in the financial services industry for more than 45 years. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1962 with a degree in Agricultural Economics. Following graduation Joe reported for active duty in the United States Air Force and upon completion of pilot training served as a combat crew member in Strategic Air Command until 1969 when he was discharged at the rank of Captain. In 1971, he began his banking career with the Wachovia Bank & Trust Company in the area of trust employee benefits/retirement plans with the title of Senior Vice President. Using his educational benefits from the military, he completed graduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with an MBA degree in management and finance.

In 1980, Joe and his family moved to Blue Springs, MO area to continue his career with the Commerce Bank of Kansas City as Vice President in the employee benefits division. Recognizing the opportunities for service to his clients, Joe continued his education by completing and receiving the Certified Financial Planner, CFP, designation from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, CO, as well as securities and insurance licenses.

In June of 1994, the decision was reached to establish his own financial consulting business when Financial Success, Inc was formed. Later a second company, MoneyFinders, was implemented to provide residential mortgage financing services to his clients. The primary goal that Joe has for each of his clients is to help them to achieve financial success and independence. Using the clients goals and objectives, each client is guided in developing and implementing financial programs which concentrate on creating, enjoying and preserving wealth in a tax favored manner. Helping people learn how to understand and use sound financial management principles has been the guiding focus and purpose for Joe throughout his life. When you can help others achieve financial success you contribute to the success and purpose of your own life.

Joe and his wife, Annette, have a grown daughter and son and four grandchildren all of whom reside in the Kansas City area. Joe is very active in church and school affairs, enjoys playing golf, reading, traveling in the United States and spending time with his family.
